Lamin lodge

Lamin lodge is a place with a restaurant, where you can start a guided boat trip through the bolongs (creeks) of the Gambia river on traditional boats. You will see how the shells of the oysters, collected by the local women in the mangrove forest, are processed into lime for making cement and white paint. During a nice boat trip on the river you will visit an authentic village hidden in the forest where you can see the way of life of the Gambians.
