Bakau Tour

(Kachikally Crocodile pool and museum, Calypso Beach and visit Local School)

Kachically is a unique popular tourist site that lies in the heart of Bakau, It has been a household for over 40 years for the different types of crocodiles. We will also visit calypso beach and visit a local school.

Itinerary

• We will go to Kachically where we start in the museum of ethnography where you can learn a lot about different tribes, traditions and the way of life of the Gambian people

• Then we will take a mini forest nature walk leading to the big silk tree locally called “bantango”

• Then we will go to the crocodile pool where you can see live crocodiles. If you are brave enough, you can touch the crocodiles and take a photo with them. Don't be afraid, the crocodiles don't bite

• Visit of Calypso Beach, one off the most beautiful beaches of the Gambia

• Visit of local school

• We will go back to your accommodation
